Giggles

We just can't get enough of Addison's giggles. They are so darn cute.

Addison is growing up so fast. Last week, she turned 5 months old. This weekend she starting talking a lot and really loud (I think she's going to be like her dad). We have so much fun with her now. She's getting her own little personality. We are so thankful to have a healthy, loving baby girl.

Addison was talking to her stuffed animals

Look closely and you'll see Addison's first mosquito bite on her left cheek

I do have a life beyond Addison

Front door fall wreath

For the past 2 years I have wanted a fall wreath, but didn't want to pay $100 for it. So this weekend, I went to Hobby Lobby and bought stuff 50% off to make my own wreath. I love to do these types of things, but sometimes don't want to spend the money. Well, I finally gave in and I really am excited about how it turned out.

My sweet hubby - If you look at his eyes, I think Addison is starting to look more like him

New Bows

I got Addison some new bows, and this was just one of them. She doesn't have any hair, so we clipped it on for a minute or so. She looks like a little present. I think the bow will work much better when she gets more hair.

Addison has had a cold the last 2 days. It's not fun when kids are sick. You can't really give them much medicine. Her little nose and eyes are red. I want her to get back to her normal, happy self. Hopefully she'll get over it before the weekend.

Sat her in her crib - Doesn't she look like she's done something she's not supposed to?

Hello everyone! Too busy to clean your house?

Well, the ladies that clean our house are looking for new homes to clean. They will clean your house for $80. Believe me, it's worth every penny. It is a family that has been cleaning various members of my family's homes for years.

If you're interested, please let me know and I'll send you their information.

Labor Day Weekend

Addison has graduated to her new umbrella stoller
She loves being able to sit up and see what's going on

Going to eat lunch

How nice it was to have a long weekend? I really enjoyed being able to spend 3 days with Addison and Jordan. It's nice to have a day in there where you find time to take a nap. lol.

We had the best time. My mom came in on Saturday, and we just had a blast. Jordan and I got to go out on a date Sunday evening while my mom kept Addison (thanks Mom). We rekindled the flame. You don't realize how long it's been till you actually go out again. Of course, we had to take Addison shopping. It's so much fun to find cute little outfits for her.

Daddy's Football Buddy

Proud Trophy

Addison got a Longhorn outfit from Virginia and the time has finally come to bring it out of the closet for college football season. It still is a little bit too big, but she should fit into it perfectly by the end of the season.

Jordan is so excited that college football has begun. He is constantly reminding Addison that one day she'll have her own chair that she'll have to sit by Daddy to watch football, baseball, the list goes on and on.

We haven't really done anything exciting lately that I need to post, but I know family enjoys any pictures of any sort. Our baby girl is growing up so fast. I just stare at her and cannot think of our special she is to me. She makes all of my worries go away. Children are truly a blessing from God.
